There isn't much help or support for parents of child with global developmental delay.. It is such a wide spectrum disability with various other health problems and disabilities thrown into it, and yet so little understanding,support,help or information on it.
The owner of the web support group has 3 children with Global Developmental Delay and would love to meet and chat and support other parents who have children with same diagnosis as my children. This is why she has created a website in the hope it brings parents togther online to support each other.
At the same time the group works together to help raise awareness of Global Developmental Delay so people around us understand our children and why they are like they are so much better we can do this by wearing awareness wristbands, printing off awareness posters, running an online forum. The actor Will Mellor is showing his support by wearing one of the wristbands.
