During my pregnancy I'd breezed through everything. I did have a slightly high blood sugar count, but that probably was of my own making - I always did have a sweet tooth.
By the end of 36 weeks, I was getting to the end of my tether and ready for the boys to make their debut appearance, unfortunately I had to wait until 38.5 weeks. I was booked in for an induction on the Friday of my 38th week.

I was admitted at 10pm on Monday 6th March 2006, with severe swelling to my feet and ankles, which was later diagnosed as pre-eclampsia as my blood pressure was 160 over 106 and I had protein in my urine!
After a near sleepless night in a crowded antenatal ward the decision was made to induce me at 2pm the following day - I began contracting at tea time. The pains got stronger but I could manage with no pain relief. At 9pm I was moved to a side room so....

Did you have a secret ingredient in your packing which made your multiple birth easier ? Would you like to share it with us ? We've been asked for a hospital checklist for a twins birth and have cobbled together the following from our personal experience. The contents of the list will obviously be applicable to all multiple births, triplets, quads etc.
