26 May 2010 - 12:04pm 0 CommentsOn July 16th 2009, my identical twin boys were bought into the world by Caesarian section at 37 weeks. This was my first experience of pregnancy and it amazes people when they say "well you've got an instant family now. You won't want any more will you?" and I reply "YES!!!"
It really amuses me that people presume that having twins means you'll be put off of having more, but for me it has only encouraged me to have another baby (or two... or three). The joy they ha....

21 May 2010 - 1:52pm 0 CommentsI happily went for my first scan at 14 weeks (a couple of weeks late due to Dewsbury hospital being busy!) As I lay there with my hubby holding my had, I asked 'there is only one in there, isn't there' for the sonographer to say yes! Then I saw my hubby's face drop. Then the lady went 'oh, I've not done that before, there are two in there!' I asked' your joking right? Are you serious etc' and she said 'yes' and that was the start of it.

27 Apr 2010 - 12:33pm 0 CommentsI had 1 son, Kai. We always wanted a family of 3 and the time was right to add number 2 to our family.. I was spotting and had an early scan identifying that I was carrying Twins! We spent the rest of the day with huge grins on our faces, saying 2....TWO!!!!!
Needless to say, I had no idea what the pregnancy would bring! My son was born naturally at 10lbs 4 so i knew I was unlikely to have tiny twins! I spent the whole pregnancy feeling hideous....
