Hi Guys,

Im wacked! but "Happy-wacked" if there is such a word!

Im sitting here typing up me blog for the night and drinking a cup of sleepy tea and took 2 "Kalms Sleep" to get me off to sleep so I feel OK to go into tonight.

I went in and took the care of nobody since it was gloriously quiet and had a break until about 0130. Lovely and very rare in our business!

Then a lady came in with her husband who had an interesting story and they were allocated to me- poor souls! lol!

Back Home After Night In Delivery Suite

Hi Guys,

Fairly quiet night really at Delivery Suite although I suppose I mean it wasnt manic! Seen a few ladies- one had a forceps delivery- the other cheekily delivered whilst I was on my break! and the next one came down and didnt speak a word of English. Her husband did all the translating whilst trying to promote his taxi business to me! I thought he was going to give me his card at one point!

Off to bed now - the non-english speaking lady who delivered a lovely baby boy at bang on 8am. I gave my delivery up to a student coming on shift which will be her final one needed to qualify. So there were several people celebrating in the room.

Calm Before The Storm

Hi Guys,

Kids went back to school today - what a fuss! Does anyone else have one child that just cannot have ANYTHING different otherwise he goes into meltdown mode. Well one of mine did exactly just this because one has stripey black shorts for PE and the other dosnt. "I MUST have my stripey shorts- THEY-ARE-NOT-HISSSSSSSSSSSS!"

Grrrrrrrrr. I've come back back to a lovely quiet house and am cooking a couple of dinners for the next few days since I am back on Nights. I've done a casserole recipe I got from Twinsclub which is basically sausages,beans, tomatoes and onions. That sizzling away in the oven.
